Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Springfield, IL is seeking a Mobile Commercial HVAC Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, and environmental systems across client facilities. The role requires on-call night/weekend coverage and timely input of work orders into the CMMS, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will perform preventive maintenance and demonstrate strong mechanical skills, computer proficiency, and teamwork while ensuring adherence to local codes and safety

Qualifications

• Good general working knowledge of all trades.
• Proven mechanical ability and aptitude.
• Good computer skills; operating knowledge and troubleshooting of equipment via Building Management System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, safety, boilers, refrigeration, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks in CMMS with equipment histories.
• Complete and input all work orders timely; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Follow OSHA/state/municipal requirements and safety policies; communicate repair status to supervisor.
• Available for on-call duty nights, weekends, and holidays; coordinate with other vendors as needed.
