Job summary

TrueCare is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant Float to support dentists and dental hygienists across our California locations, including the Mobile Dental Clinic. The role focuses on direct patient care, sterilization, preparation, and inventory management in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

The ideal candidate holds a California RDA license, has at least one year of experience, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
• Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a high-volume dental practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association.
• Current CA RDA License (Coronal Polish/ XRay / Sealants / Pit & Fissure Sealants).
• Current CA Dental Practice Act and Infection Control Certificates.
• A current California license and familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, materials, and medications used during dental procedures.
• Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery.
• Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm) and on Saturdays.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word) and with electronic health record data entry.
• Bilingual English / Spanish

Your Role & Impact

The Registered Dental Assistant Float is responsible for assisting the dentist and dental hygienist in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients of all Dental departments as needed. The Registered Dental Assistant Float is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory. The Registered Dental Assistant Float will be required to work at all TrueCare dental locations including the Mobile Dental Clinic.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
• Minimum one year experience working as a Registered Dental Assistant in a high-volume dental practice.

The pay range for this role is$29.99 to $43.48 on an hourly basis.
