Job summary

VNA of the Treasure Coast is seeking a Mobile Clinic Driver to operate and maintain the unit, drive to clinic sites, assist with patient intake, and ensure accurate medical records. Requires a Florida CDL Class A or B and a one-year certificate or 3–6 months related experience.

Strong customer service and basic math/typing skills are essential. Responsibilities include greeting patients, processing pre-visit paperwork, maintaining logs, and keeping the mobile unit clean and safe.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information clearly.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s for money, weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Drives to clinic sites and sets up mobile unit with site safety in mind.
• Greet patients, direct and complete pre-visit paperwork, entering data into the computer.
• Maintain patient records and appointment logs; assist ARNP with lifting/moving patients as needed.
• Keep unit interior clean and sanitary (floors, bathroom, etc.).
• Maintain a log for referrals and lab work for follow-up.
• Record mobile unit statistics and performance.
