Job summary

Life Medical is seeking a Mobile Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality transthoracic echo exams at patients' homes and care facilities. Travel to various sites, independent work, and strict adherence to imaging protocols are required.

Qualifications include ARDMS/RCDS, BLS, and 1+ year of echo experience. Valid driver's license and travel flexibility are essential for this mobile role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing echocardiograms independently.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic imaging techniques.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and facilities to perform echocardiographic examinations.
• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) per physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and measurements for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Document patient information, examination details, and findings.
• Upload studies for physician interpretation.
• Maintain and report on portable echocardiography equipment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and company policies.
• Represent Life Medical with professionalism and compassionate service.
