Hawthorne-Health seeks a Travel Ultrasound Technician to perform echocardiograms at patient homes, traveling locally with portable equipment to deliver high-quality imaging services. You will obtain informed cooperation, label images for review, and prepare preliminary reports while upholding ASE standards and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the visit.

Formación

• RDCS or RCS required.
• AE Certification required; pediatric PE not required but a plus.
• 3+ years of recent sonography experience in both adult and pediatric populations.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms per protocol on adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
