Job summary

Bevara is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to service a portfolio of commercial office buildings in the Chicago, IL area. You will maintain a property’s physical condition and safeguard it against damage, loss, and deterioration.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and versatile—a true jack of all trades. This role does include a work vehicle, 1st shift hours, and the opportunity to work with a team that values collaboration and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Proficient with smartphones, email, and work order systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on interior and exterior equipment.
• Manage work order requests for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and document completed work.
• Ensure safe job sites in line with safety standards.
