Job summary

Bevara is seeking a dedicated Mobile Building Engineer to support two commercial office buildings in the South Milwaukee area. You’ll maintain building systems, respond to service requests, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety standards.

The role includes a company vehicle and first-shift hours. Must have 3-5 years of building operations experience, knowledge of HVAC/electrical/plumbing, and a valid driver’s license. Join a collaborative team focused on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years in commercial building operations and engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for both interior and exterior building equipment.
• Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing their check-in/out process and escorting them to their work areas while documenting the work completed.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and adhere to company, OSHA, and client-specific safety standards.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner consistent with our values.

About the Position

As a Mobile Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a property’s physical condition and safeguarding it against damage, loss, and deterioration. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and versatile—a true jack of all trades.
