Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Mobile Blood Bank Driver to support staffing for blood drives in Somerville. This temporary onsite role involves driving the mobile unit to and from designated locations, coordinating with staff, and ensuring vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities include adherence to schedules, safety and customer service, basic donor support, and reporting as required. A high school diploma and a valid MA CDL are required; 2–3 years driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Massachusetts CDL Class B license required.
• 2–3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor transportation safety and timeliness.
• Lead driver responsibilities for mobile unit operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety procedures are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and donors.
• Maintain vehicle, including diesel fill-up and interior cleaning.
