Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Blood Donor Phlebotomist I to perform venipuncture and donar collection for in-house and mobile drives. You’ll assess donor health histories, monitor vitals, and ensure safe, accurate blood collection following SOPs.

Responsibilities include operating lab equipment, stocking supplies, and maintaining donor confidentiality while adhering to CGMP and quality standards. A CA phlebotomy certificate and driving ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year as a blood donor phlebotomist with lab information systems experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate per CA state laws preferred.
• CA driver’s license and clean driving record; willing to drive mobile unit.

Responsabilités

• Performs venipuncture and phlebotomy procedures in-house and at mobile drives using proper technique.
• Assesses donor health history, evaluates vitals, and prepares donor arms for phlebotomy.
• Collects whole blood products, monitors donor safety, and responds to adverse events.
• Drives and maintains mobile collection vehicles and manages supplies and equipment.
• Maintains records, labels specimens accurately, and adheres to CGMPs and confidentiality.
