Job summary

A community-focused mental health organization is seeking a Behavioral Health First Responder (BHFR) in Wilmerding, PA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, or a related field required.
• High School Diploma with 12 semester credits in human services and two years of mental health experience acceptable.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond in person to behavioral health–related 911 calls.
• Conduct on-scene assessments for individuals in crisis.
• Provide psychoeducation and supportive crisis counseling.
