Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises, the largest AAA federation member, is seeking a Battery Service Driver to deliver on-site battery service and light repairs to AAA members. You will work under dispatch oversight and ensure vehicle readiness and professional presentation at all times.

The role includes occasional travel, ability to complete cash transactions, and strict adherence to DOT and company policies. A strong customer-service mindset and a willingness to sell AAA batteries are essential.

Qualifications

• High School GED or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, have a valid driver’s license and pass criminal background checks.
• DOT physical required at least every 2 years.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
• Ability to complete daily cash transactions and paperwork accurately.
• Ability to read and understand street and road maps.
• Basic understanding of major automotive systems (electrical, engine, drivetrain, chassis).
• Ability to recognize opportunities to sell and install AAA branded batteries.
• Working knowledge of towing and recovery equipment and lockout tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide battery service and light automotive repairs to AAA members as directed by Dispatch and Fleet Management.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order per Fleet Operations Manual and FMCR.
• Keep the exterior and interior of the vehicle clean and professional in appearance.
• Assist in maintaining the Fleet Facility and perform general housekeeping as required.
