Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform avionics maintenance on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft at remote locations. You will install, adjust, test, troubleshoot and repair avionics systems, review work scope with customers, and coordinate with the Service Center to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires 3 years in avionics, A&P certification preferred, and 1–2 years on Textron aircraft.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft avionics systems, troubleshooting and repair.
• Airframe and Power Plant Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years on Cessna, Hawker or Beechcraft aircraft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing to isolate a customer avionics issue and repair per FAA procedures.
• Diagnose problems from in-flight data and customer information and take corrective action.
• Troubleshoot faulty units or wiring discrepancies and repair or replace components.
• Install modifications on aircraft wiring build-ups and installations.
• Obtain necessary parts and ensure cores are returned per procedure.
• Maintain safety standards and keep FCC/FAA repair licenses current.
