Job summary

Wrench Inc is seeking Mobile Technicians to work as independent contractors (1099) in Santa Clarita, CA. You may repair and maintain vehicles, diagnose issues, and prepare cars for customers and partners on a flexible schedule.

Contractors set their own rates, accept the jobs they want, and operate from a mobile service vehicle, covering a variety of makes and models with responsible toolsets and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of automotive mechanic experience
• Master Tech or Medium Duty experience preferred
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Perform a wide range of repairs including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain automotive vehicles and diagnose issues
• Fix and prepare vehicles for customers and partners
• Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical repairs
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics and address no-starts or breakdowns
