Job summary

Wrench offers mobile automotive repair services and seeks experienced Mobile Technicians on a 1099 contractor basis. You will diagnose and fix a range of vehicle issues at customers' locations, with control over your schedule and rates.

Expect to handle repairs from engines to routine maintenance, while maintaining high customer service standards. Responsibilities include thorough inspections, problem solving, and ensuring safety and proper vehicle operation after service.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years automotive mechanic experience
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues
• Perform repairs across engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems
• Address breakdowns, no-starts and mechanical or electrical problems promptly
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake pads, fluids)
• Ensure scheduled maintenance per manufacturer recommendations
• Familiarity with a variety of vehicle makes and models

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues and determine necessary repairs
