Job summary

Purdy Hyundai is seeking a self-motivated Mobile Service Technician to perform automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer locations and other approved sites. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, electrical/mechanical repairs, and communicating findings to the Service Advisor.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and customer care in field service. Applicants should have a high school diploma, automotive training or experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive maintenance or technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services at customer locations and other approved mobile service locations.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform appropriate repairs with minimal supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations and balancing, fluid services, and other manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle systems within the mobile service scope.
• Inspect vehicles to identify safety, maintenance, or repair needs and communicate findings.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure parts and tools are available for mobile service.
• Test drive when necessary to diagnose concerns or verify repairs.
• Maintain the mobile service vehicle and organize tools and inventory.
• Adhere to safety, dealership, and manufacturer procedures and policies.
