Job summary

Sunset Chevrolet is seeking a dependable Mobile Auto Technician / Field Service Technician to provide on-site GM diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for customers in the field. Travel to various locations and work independently to keep customers on the road with reliable service.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, customer communication, and accurate service reporting. Sunset Automotive Group is a family-owned dealer group serving the gulf coast of Florida with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience as GM service technician or mobile technician preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Perform vehicle maintenance services.
• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and solutions.
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.

Sunset Chevrolet is looking for a dependable Mobile Auto Technician / Field Service Technician to provide on-site GM Automotive Service diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for customers in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, traveling to different locations, and working independently.

Key Mobile Technician Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Travel to customer locations to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Perform vehicle maintenance services
• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and solutions
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle

Mobile Technician Qualifications

• Previous experience as a GM Service Technician, Mobile Technician, or similar role
• Valid driver's license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments
• GM certifications and experience preferred
• Experience in mobile or on-site service roles helpful
