Job summary

Sunset Cadillac of Venice is hiring skilled Automotive Service Technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles, and to grow with a GM dealership that values learning. We welcome all automotive service experience; GM/ASE certifications are preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Automotive service experience required.
• Technical institute or formal training a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and verifiable work history.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of repair work.
• Willingness to continue education and training.
• ASE and/or GM certifications preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose vehicle maintenance, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform repairs efficiently and correctly according to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and parts team members.
• Document all work performed on repair orders.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

Position Overview

We're seeking skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technicians who take pride in quality work and want to continue learning and growing. GM dealership experience and certifications are preferred, but all automotive service experience will be considered.

Auto Service Technician Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose vehicle maintenance, mechanical, and drivability concerns
• Perform repairs efficiently and correctly according to dealership and factory standards
