Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform automotive repairs and maintenance at customer locations in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards. You will diagnose and resolve issues, travel to sites, and communicate findings to customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires technical expertise, independence, and strong customer service in a mobile environment. Prior mobile service experience and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certifications preferred; manufacturer certifications desired.
• Three years of automotive experience preferred.
• Able to perform repairs in multiple areas and operate both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and on-site locations for scheduled maintenance, repairs and recalls.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized on-site repairs.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document work and test results using mobile service software.
• Provide estimates and obtain customer authorization for additional work.
• Coordinate with parts and other dealers to streamline repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized mobile service vehicle and inventory.
• Complete required training and maintain ASE/manufacturer certifications.
