Job summary

Ace Motor Sales has a dedicated Mobile Automotive Service Technician role in New Jersey. The position delivers on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs at customer homes or businesses, enabling independent work while staying aligned with the shop team.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery replacements, fluid services, and diagnostics using mobile tools. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required; Ford experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on automotive service technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ford experience a plus; familiarity with Ford procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations using a fully-equipped service vehicle to perform on-site maintenance and light repairs.
• Perform routine services: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, battery replacements, and fluid services.
• Use mobile diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and resolve vehicle issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of services, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Keep mobile service vehicle stocked, clean, and organized; coordinate with main service team for routes.
