Job summary

The Hillman Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mobile Locksmith Technician to join our field team. You will operate a fully equipped mobile van and provide auto key duplication, key cutting, and fob programming services to customers, acting as the face of our mobile operation.

You'll partner with an Automotive Mobile Sales Representative, travel within a 50-mile radius, and work a schedule typical of the role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).
Experience in locksmithing, automotive services, retail, or other customer-facing technical roles is preferred.
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Locksmith License, possibly requiring FBI background check.
Experience with aftermarket key programmers.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Deliver mobile locksmith solutions using a company-provided service van.
Assist customers with automotive locksmith needs, including key cutting and fob programming or cloning.
Operate and maintain the mobile store, setting the standard for future mobile operations.
Manage inventory, coordinate customer meetings, and keep the van clean and showroom-ready.
Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and support mobile program excellence.
Provide outstanding customer service reflecting professionalism and care.
