Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Technician in San Jose, CA, to deliver diagnostics, programming, and calibration services. This role requires frequent travel to customer locations and commitment to high standards of safety and quality.

With 2–5 years of automotive experience and strong diagnostic skills, you'll ensure top-notch customer service. Daily responsibilities include vehicle service, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams to uphold ATE’s reputation.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Ability to perform and interpret vehicle health scans.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Perform a range of vehicle services including diagnostics, calibrations, and programming.
• Provide excellent customer service by effectively managing difficult situations.

Skills

Automotive experience servicing and diagnosing vehicle systems

Knowledge of ADAS and electrical services

Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment

Clear communication skills

Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments
