Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and ADAS calibrations on most vehicle makes and models while delivering high levels of customer service. Light electrical and mechanical procedures may also be performed.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Assist service managers and estimators with documentation for mechanical or electronic repairs. Utilize SalesForce for job assignments and invoicing.
  2. Troubleshoot and perform calibration repairs using OEM or aftermarket scan tools, understanding scan tool codes to determine needed repairs or calibrations.
  3. Perform programming, pre/post scans, and basic electrical diagnostics using a Digital Voltage Meter.
  4. Communicate clearly with customers regarding work orders and additional repairs.
  5. Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation.
  6. Perform light electrical and mechanical work as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships aligned with our Core Values and Brand Promise.
  8. Complete training provided by the company in a timely manner.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
  • At least 1 year of related experience required.
  • Diploma/Certification from Technical School or higher in Mechanical Repair or Electrical/Diagnostic Repair.
Preferred Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment and estimating systems like TCC, Mitchell, or All Data. Experience with steering, suspension, or 4-wheel alignment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic math skills and ability to interpret graphs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and procedures for routine problems.
  • Ability to set personal goals and work with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in various physical positions, including cramped spaces. PPE may be required. Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and hazardous conditions is possible. Travel may be required.
