Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building strong connections with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling:
    • Assist customers in their shopping journey, online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Explore customer needs and demonstrate the latest technology.
    • Sell personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approach customer interactions with integrity, composure, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools:
    • Demonstrate network coverage and plan benefits.
    • Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learn about wireless innovations and technology.
  3. Build relationships and collaborate:
    • Partner with other T-Mobile employees to enhance customer experience.
    • Identify and refer small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused with a fun, authentic approach.
  • Drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders.
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with incentives available during training and upon promotion, potentially reaching $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, tuition assistance, and discounts.
