Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an essential part of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions to exceed performance targets.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate product and service value. Assist customers in understanding how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems. Review personal results, promotions, and updates regularly. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding. Perform store operations, including opening/closing procedures and securing assets.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by connecting on a personal level, building rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals and Be Back processes, and perform price overrides for specific offers.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy, balancing experience and performance (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
Additional Information

Hourly pay starts at $19.00 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with incentives averaging $18,000/year, plus guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
