Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They are obsessed with the connected world and thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are skilled at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way, excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment. Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding solutions that help customers understand how to self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, systems, and reference resources. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to stay customer ready. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding. Perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securing kiosk assets, and reporting lost keys or assets.
  4. Be customer obsessed. Connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Provide exceptional service, exceed expectations, follow up, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with customers. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate customer advocate, effective at balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate with peers and leaders, share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)

Compensation

Hourly Base Pay: $19.00

During the first 90 days, training is provided with incentive pay based on milestones. Post-training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000/year, performance-dependent. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant.
