Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are integral members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thriving in high-traffic environments where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating customers about solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer service, sales, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding solutions via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, products, and systems. Review personal results, promotions, and updates to stay customer-ready. Support store onboarding, perform store operations, and secure kiosk assets.
  4. Provide passionate, friendly, and engaging customer service, building rapport and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for special offers.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and effective at balancing customer experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic store team, willing to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive of approximately $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts on mobile and internet services.
