Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and consistently exceed their performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effectively communicating, educating, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Assist customers in understanding how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app, deepen relationships, and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, and systems. Review personal results, promotions, and updates regularly. Continuously learn and improve skills to enhance customer experience. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding, perform store operations, and secure kiosk assets, reporting issues as needed.
  4. Be customer-obsessed—friendly, engaging, and able to connect personally with customers. Build rapport, trust, and loyalty, exceed expectations, follow up, capture referrals, and manage processes like Be Back. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate, able to balance customer experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to work with peers and leaders, sharing best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)

  • At least 18 years old

Hourly Pay: $17.50

During the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. After training, they can promote to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees are guaranteed $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
