Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. These ambassadors thrive in high-traffic environments, continuously evolving with technological innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They excel at building relationships, understanding customer needs, and recommending solutions, aiming to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer service and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools, identify customer needs, and demonstrate product value through solution-based selling, including onboarding and app utilization.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, systems, and procedures; review personal results and updates regularly to stay customer-ready.
  4. Build rapport by connecting on a personal level, providing exceptional service, and exceeding customer expectations. Follow up, capture referrals, and manage customer relationships effectively.
  5. Collaborate with nearby store teams to support customer account setup, device support, and servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to connect authentically with customers (Required)
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic retail team, willing to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with incentive pay during training and promotion to the Mobile Expert role, with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family building benefits, tuition assistance, disability, insurance options, and discounts.
