Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, engaging deeply with customers to understand their needs and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales Proficiency: Assist customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store, explore their needs, demonstrate technology, and provide personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools for customer interactions, showcase coverage, explain plans, complete training on store experience, and stay informed on innovations.
  3. Relationship Building & Team Collaboration: Partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education & Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with others (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentives and potential promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual target of $18,000 in incentives. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives.
