Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This learning role prepares associates for advancement to Mobile Expert by completing new employee training.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store; exploring needs; demonstrating technology; and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services; complete training on store experience, systems, and resources; and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  3. Establish relationships and partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

  • Passionate customer advocate with a fun, authentic personality (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)

Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and training pay. After promotion to Mobile Expert, the incentive target is $18,000/year, with total earnings guaranteed at $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, disability, insurance options, and discounts.
