Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy around our products and services, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. They focus on connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them about our device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class customer experience by helping customers continue their shopping journey online, in-store, or via Customer Care, and offering personalized solutions and demonstrations.
2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, complete training on systems and processes, and continuously learn about wireless innovations.
3. Build relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $20.00, plus $5.00 training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible, with incentives up to $18,000/year based on performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives.
