Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building meaningful connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Helping customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology hands-on.
    • Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching interactions with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate:
    • Coverage maps and LTE network speed in the customer’s area.
    • Benefits of T-Mobile plans and services for an unlimited lifestyle.
    • Complete training on store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Seek ongoing learning about wireless innovations during shifts.
  3. Collaborate with T-Mobile team members across channels to:
    • Ensure a seamless customer experience and resolve issues.
    • Identify and pass small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with others (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
