Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
  • Assisting customers in their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, or in-store experiences.
  • Demonstrating the latest technology and exploring individual needs.
  • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approaching service and sales with integrity and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on store experience, systems, and resources.
  • Build relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
  • Education and Work Experience
    • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
    • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
    • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
    • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
    • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
    Licenses and Certifications
    • At least 18 years old
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

    Hourly Base Pay: $17.50 + $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentives, with guaranteed $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
