Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating technology.
    • Offering personalized solutions, accessories, and IoT devices.
    • Approaching interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Continuously learn about innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with other employees to own the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives. Identify and pass small business leads.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun! (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environments. (Required)
  • Willing to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders. (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals. (Required)

Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with on-the-job training and incentive opportunities. Promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for stock grants and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, and voluntary insurance options.
