Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who generate energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They build significant connections with customers, deepening relationships and helping them find solutions that meet their needs. This role is designed for learning, where new associates work with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience and building loyalty through:
    • Assisting customers to continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology in-store.
    • Selling personalized solutions beyond devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity, composure, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively to demonstrate:
    • Coverage and network quality in the customer’s area.
    • The benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learn about wireless innovations between customer interactions.
  3. Establish and partner with other T-Mobile employees to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues seamlessly.
    • Identify and hand off small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Work Experience
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)

  • Customer-focused with enthusiasm for connecting and having fun! (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a sales environment. (Required)
