Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This is a learning role, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions.
  2. Digital Tools and Product Knowledge: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services; complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources; continuously learn about wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building and Teamwork: Collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environment (Required)
  • Team-oriented, eager to learn and share ideas (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
Additional Details

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $17.50/hr plus $5.00/hr training pay. After training, eligible for incentives up to $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hr including incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
