Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, helping customers pick up where they left off, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Digital Tools Usage: Become skilled in using digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans and services, complete training, and learn about innovations.
  3. Relationship Building: Partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

  • Passionate customer advocate with a fun, authentic approach (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive training pay and are eligible for promotion and incentives. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, all employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
