Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, building significant connections with customers, and continuously working to deepen relationships by uncovering needs and educating customers on device and service solutions. This role is an entry-level position focused on learning, skill-building, and preparing for advancement to Mobile Expert. New associates are required to complete training successfully.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
  • Assisting customers in continuing their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Exploring individual needs and demonstrating the latest technology in-store.
  • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices, beyond basic device and plan offerings.
  • Approaching customer service with integrity, compassion, and composure.
  • Using digital tools effectively to demonstrate network coverage and plan benefits.
  • Completing training on in-store experience, systems, and processes.
  • Seeking information and learning about innovations during shifts.
  • Partnering with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience and resolve issues, including identifying small business leads and supporting team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
