Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They build strong connections with customers, uncover their needs, and educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates develop skills and prepare for the next level as a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers with their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity, compassion, and professionalism.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, completing training on systems and resources, and continuously learning about innovations.
  3. Establish relationships across channels, including business and customer service, to own the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $19.00/hour plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for incentives up to $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for annual stock grants.
