Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They build significant connections with customers, deepening relationships by uncovering needs and educating on device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class customer experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, through Customer Care, or in-store. Explore needs, demonstrate technology, and offer personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans, and complete training on systems and processes. Continuously learn about innovations and improve skills during shifts.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive with success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50

During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, annual incentives can reach $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
