Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey, exploring needs, and demonstrating technology and accessories. Approach customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools and Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively during interactions, demonstrate coverage and plans, complete training on in-store experience, and stay updated on wireless innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Establish relationships across channels, own the customer experience, resolve issues, support team initiatives, and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer advocate with enthusiasm and fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old

During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, the annual incentive target is $18,000, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for stock grants.
