The Bindu Institute, LLC is seeking an Art Therapist to provide one-hour Art Therapy sessions weekly for veterans with brain/spinal cord injuries and PTSD. Provisional Registered Art Therapist accepted.

The role emphasizes creativity and expressive art to support cognitive and emotional recovery while traveling to client locations. You will conduct personalized therapy, perform intakes, develop treatment plans, document weekly progress, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Formación

• Certification as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or ATR-BC or provisional equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field.
• Preferred experience with individuals who have developmental or physical disabilities.
• Military background is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills and clean Driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outpatient art therapy services to enhance patients' well‑being and progress.
• Conduct intakes and oversee individual and occasional family therapies.
• Develop and adapt treatment plans with regular reviews.
• Perform mental health assessments and art therapy interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation per federal and state guidelines.

Conocimientos

Provisional Registered Art Therapist

Proficient computer skills

Valid driver’s license

Educación

Master’s degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field

Art Therapy certification (ATR/ATR-BC)
