Job summary

The Bindu Institute, LLC is seeking a part-time Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) to conduct one-hour sessions for veterans with brain/spinal cord injuries and PTSD. The role emphasizes expressive art, cognitive support, and weekly sessions with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities include intake, treatment planning, and weekly progress notes. Travel to multiple client locations across Florida, Georgia and Texas is required. A valid driver’s license and background check are needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field.
• ATR or ATR-BC certification required.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Military background is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient art therapy services to improve well-being and progress.
• Conduct intakes and oversee individual and occasional family therapies.
• Develop and adapt treatment plans with regular reviews.
• Perform mental health assessments and provide art therapy/counseling interventions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation per federal and state guidelines.
