Job summary

The Bindu Institute is seeking a Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) to provide outpatient art therapy sessions for veterans with brain/spinal cord injuries and PTSD. You will facilitate one-hour weekly sessions, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role includes completing intakes, developing treatment plans, and maintaining compliant records. Mileage reimbursement is available, and a flexible schedule supports part-time work while supporting wounded warriors

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or ATR-BC.
• Master's degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field, with master’s level Art Therapy certification.
• Preferred experience working with individuals facing developmental and physical disabilities.
• Military background is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background and driver’s record checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient art therapy services to enhance patients' well-being and progress.
• Conduct intakes and oversee individual and occasional family therapies.
• Develop and adapt treatment plans, conducting regular reviews as needed.
• Perform mental health assessments, offering art therapy/counseling and intervention services.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in line with federal and state guidelines.
