Responsibilities

• Mobile Architecture: Evaluate and improve application structure, component patterns, code quality, maintainability, and performance. Establish standards and architectural best practices.
• React Native Development: Design, develop, debug, and deliver high-quality production features. Contribute directly to sprint work and resolve high-priority technical issues as needed.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and assess React Native libraries, frameworks, and industry updates to identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Expo Strategy: Help evaluate and prepare for a potential transition to Expo within the next 1–2 years.
• Third-Party Integrations: Evaluate and implement SDKs, libraries, and external services, addressing compatibility and native integration challenges.
• Security and Quality: Establish mobile security standards in partnership with an external security vendor and support testing, troubleshooting, and application stability.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with mobile developers, product management, QA, security partners, and backend, web, and engineering architecture teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mobile Architect / React Native expert to lead mobile architecture improvements and deliver high-quality React Native features. This role will focus on optimizing the existing application, establishing sustainable engineering standards, evaluating new libraries, and future-proofing the mobile platform . The ideal candidate combines strong architectural expertise with hands-on coding skills and a forward-looking approach to mobile development, including a potential transition to Expo.
