Job summary

T-Mobile seeks a senior engineering leader to oversee Life App development teams, building and maintaining systems that support business operations and user experience. You will guide technical strategy, mentor engineers, and ship impactful features in production for customers and internal users.

Collaborate with technology and product partners, drive culture, ensure on-time delivery, software quality, and effective leadership across the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree + 3 years of related experience.
CS or related programming field studies.
4-7 years experience in Analytics and BI development environments.
Less than 2 years experience in supervising a team of 15+ developers.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a mobile app development team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Recruit and onboard qualified team members to strengthen capabilities.
Own the full mobile app development lifecycle from scoping to release.
Optimize mobile apps for performance and user experience.
Drive improvements in development practices, tooling, security, and coding standards.
Manage project resources and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Oversee vendor relationships to align with technical requirements.
Ensure timely troubleshooting and removal of blockers.
Perform additional duties as needed by management.
