Job summary
Downtown Appliance Home Center in Columbia, MO seeks an Appliance Repair Technician to travel to customers’ homes and businesses, diagnose and repair appliances, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree or appliance repair certification preferred.
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests for appliance service.
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems.
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation.
- Repair appliances; provide preventative maintenance and warranty services.
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations.
- Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records.
