Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on heavy trucks at multiple sites in Georgia. The candidate will create work orders, coordinate schedules, and communicate repair needs to customers while maintaining parts inventory and ensuring accurate time tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance on heavy trucks (Class 5–8).
• Ability to diagnose and repair truck systems per OEM guidelines.
• Ability to create and maintain work orders and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fluid changes, and inspections.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and electronic reprogramming.
• Repair components and perform in-barrel service.
• Complete overhauls and rebuilds; install OEM parts.
• Test drive trucks to verify repairs.
• Maintain road service repair vehicles and inventory.
• Communicate repair needs to customers and document work orders.
• Ensure proper time punches and work order processing.
