Overview

Managed Mobile is seeking an "Advanced Level" Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing medium/heavy-duty trucks. The chosen candidate will work independently from a fully equipped service vehicle, which includes a smartphone, computer diagnostic tools, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and support equipment, safety gear, and all necessary supplies and parts to complete assigned tasks. The technician will carry out scheduled repairs with a strategic approach, following industry best practices and adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures. Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, along with preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks covering all major vehicle systems including engines, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical components, and computer systems.
  • Trailer repair work will consist of PMs and minimal repair work when necessary.
  • Equipment repair will consist of lift gates, and Power take off (PTO’s) along with some transmission units and hydraulic hoses.
  • Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to provide on-site services at customer locations.
  • Adapt to various tasks throughout the day based on evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Be available and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours of overtime per week.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
  • Mobile Truck Technician experience – at least 2 years.
  • Skilled mastery in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics.
  • Ability to weld is preferred.
  • Repairs on A/C recovery machine work is preferred.
  • Journeyman level repair experience on Class 6-8 diesel engines.
  • Demonstrates a strong independent work ethic and a responsible, dependable character.
  • Punctual, reliable, and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an advanced-level mechanic/technician.
