100% Remote.

Our direct client has an opening for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (11694-1).

This position is up to 12 months, with the option of extension, in Columbia, SC.

DEA needs an Architect or Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a broad understanding of general cloud engineering and design patterns, and deep experience with our tech stack to enable rapid implementation efforts while supporting existing services.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Daily standups
2. Backlog refinement
3. Demos / reviews
4. Retrospectives
5. Development
6. Code reviews
7. Testing
8. Work to complete work item acceptance criteria and the team’s definition of done
9. Work within the team’s DevOps model and assume responsibility for end-to-end quality of work and support

Additional Skills: Required Skills (ranked in order of importance):

1. Must have at least 10 years of application development using solid object-oriented design principles and standards

Preferred Skills (ranked in order of importance):

1. Understanding of networking services and concepts in Azure
2. Understanding of and practice using test-driven development principles
3. Understanding of and/or experience developing, using, administering SAP, SAP 4/HANA, IVALUA, or other ERP systems
